Lavish Design are unique handmade jewellery made with care, commitment and social responsibility. Behind each piece of jewellery is a thought of contribute to better working conditions and a good impact on the environment. This means through the whole production chain from raw material to finished jewelry.



"When I entered the fashion industry and started to design jewellery I was determined that my company would combine glistened beauty together with a commitment for social responsibility", says Louise Norrlin designer and CEO at Lavish Design AB.

The handmade jewellery have a characteristic design, based on silver, crystals and pearls. The silver comes from a Swedish supplier who can guarantee the silver meet the requirements according to Swedish law regarding lead and nickel content. Crystals and pearls are made under good working conditions and for example grinding is done under water to avoid stone lung and masks are used for all types of treatment of the jewellery.

The main part of the production of finished jewellery takes place in the Czech Republic. With help from the company Genombrott Lavish Design AB has reviewed the working conditions for all people who produce the jewellery. Louise herself visit the suppliers several times a year to train and educate the workers and to assure that they have continued good working conditions.

"To create jewelry that looked good was not enough for me, I want them to be part of doing good. In that way the person carrying a piece of jewellery from Lavish can also feel good knowing that the jewellery has been made under good working conditions including salary, maternity leave, paid over time, right to join a union, social insurance etc", says Louise Norrlin.

Lavish Design AB was founded in year 2002 and has over a hundred retailers in Sweden.And is now setting up their strategy to enter Norway, Denmark and Finland. The collection includes both a fashion and a bridal collection. Today the jewellery appears in many wedding- and fashion magazines.
